The Mosby Ranch has been held by the Mosby family since the late 1970’s. The ranch consists of approximately 8766 acres of winter cattle grazing acreage. The Mosby is located in the foothills of Colusa County, South and West of the town of Williams. Typically the ranch will run 800 to 900 mother cows per season. The terrain varies from large bottomland meadows to rolling oak studded hillsides and elevated plateaued bluffs. The Mosby has year round creek water in the bottoms and springs that provide water to dirt tanks on the highground. The ranch boasts numerous runoff tanks that fill and hold water during the winter and spring.
